Piaggio Aerospace

An innovation-driven aircraft manufacturer with a renewed focus on military and unmanned systems.

Piaggio Aerospace

Piaggio Aerospace is a global provider of excellence and is dedicated to cutting edge aviation technology.

Piaggio Aerospace has become a world leader in turboprop, multi-mission aircraft design and manufacturing. Commitment to advanced technology and research, combined with innovative style and experience, has contributed to the company’s growth in both the aircraft and aircraft engine businesses.

Piaggio Aerospace's aim is to continue to represent the state of the art in the aviation industry--designing, developing, manufacturing and maintaining unmanned aerial systems, aircraft and aero-engines for private operators, governments and military.

As a result of a newly formed industrial plan unveiled in 2016, the company will re-focus its manufacturing and research and development resources onto medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as the P.1HH HammerHead.

Its main service center is located at Genoa International Airport, and the company has additional Italian operations in Finale Ligure and Naples, as well as a facility in West Palm Beach (Florida, USA).

Piaggio Aerospace aircraft are used as executive and special. They are also operated by Italy’s armed forces and government agencies as well as by Italian emergency operations providing Medevac services. The company’s P180 Avanti II aircraft is celebrated for its high performance, hi-tech avionics, and significantly reduced operating costs.

Piaggio Aerospace is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company.
