Farnborough International Airshow has officially kicked off in the UK and we are excited to announce a new joint venture with Solvay that was finalized during the show. The venture will be the first manufacturer in the UAE and the fourth worldwide of ‘prepreg’ composite materials, a critical component of the aerospace industry. The company will be located in the center of Abu Dhabi’s growing aerospace hub. 

The partnership fortifies Mubadala’s status as a driver for creating an advanced manufacturing and aerospace cluster in the UAE. The joint venture will create new job demand for highly skilled Emirati engineers, alongside existing talent that are currently employed by our assets. The new joint venture also reinforces the development of manufacturing capabilities in Abu Dhabi, which will contribute to the continued economic development of the nation.
