Mubadala Real Estate & Hospitality (MREH) has announced that Rosewood Abu Dhabi, the landmark luxury waterfront hotel on Sowwah Island, has reached its final height of 143 metres and is structurally complete.

MREH commemorated the event with a ceremony on level 32 of the Rosewood Abu Dhabi hotel site on Sowwah Island, the heart of Abu Dhabi’s new Central Business District (CBD). The ceremony was witnessed by senior members of the MREH team along with representatives of the Arabian Construction Company (ACC) and Rosewood Hotels along with the architects and interior designers of the project.

Opening in 2012, Rosewood Abu Dhabi will be a 34-storey hotel offering 189 spacious guest rooms and suites, 131 serviced residences and six penthouses, all with access to Rosewood’s world-class services. Guests will enjoy extensive amenities, retail and a variety of signature and all day dining offerings. Located on the waterfront next to Sowwah Square, Rosewood Abu Dhabi is fully equipped with business facilities and services to meet the needs of its guests and neighbouring offices. Rosewood Abu Dhabi is the first venture in the emirate by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
