The Private Equity platform executes global direct investments, focusing on buyout and late-stage growth equity transactions, and actively manages a portfolio targeting companies across a range of sectors with strong fundamentals, including technology, healthcare, consumer, financial services, energy & sustainability, industrials & business services.

The platform’s primary geographical focus is North America and Europe, with increasing exposure across Asia.

Technology

The Technology team partners with exceptional companies and management teams to accelerate transformative growth and drive lasting global impact. The team focuses on investments in Enterprise Software, Fintech, and Life Sciences, amongst other themes in Technology.
Our Technology team also manages our investment in GlobalFoundries, one of the world's leading semiconductor foundries specializing in essential semiconductor nodes that drive innovation across various industries including smart mobile, automotive, data centers, IoT and medical.

Healthcare

The Healthcare team invests in high-quality companies in this space, which is supported by secular tailwinds with strong management teams and multiple value creation levers. Our investments in this space support growth and innovation to address unmet clinical needs, enhance access to care and reduce the cost of care to the system. These include pharma & outsourced pharma services, healthcare IT, medtech, life science tools & diagnostics, and provision.

Consumer

The Consumer team has assets across the US, Europe and Asia. It seeks to invest in businesses that are led by strong management teams having strong competitive moats in market sub segments that are growing and resilient. These include consumer services, online services, consumer health and wellness, beauty and personal care, and animal health.

Financial Services

The Financial Services team invests in and responds to structural changes in the sector. These include changes in distribution models, the digitization of financial services and products and the increase in governance, reporting and compliance requirements, in addition to opportunistic investing in case of significant dislocations.

Industrials and Business Services

The Industrials and Business Services team targets investments in companies that are leaders in their respective markets by delivering automation and tech-enabled outsourced business services. The priority themes include transformative and enabling industrial technologies and outsourced business services.

Energy and Sustainability

Our Energy and Sustainability team invests in businesses that enable and accelerate the global transition to "Net Zero" across verticals like clean energy, power, transportation, heavy industrials and buildings. Target companies are leaders that specialize in the supply of components, services or software to these key industries.

Asia

Our Asia portfolio spans a diverse range of opportunities shaped by demographics and new growth engines. It combines a selective and long-term approach with strong local partnerships, ensuring we adapt to diverse market dynamics while consistently delivering sustainable growth and enduring value across the region.
