Apex Group, a global financial services provider has signed a three-year partnership with SailGP. As the exclusive Financial Solutions Partner to the leading sustainable and purpose-driven global sports league, the two companies will form a powerful cross-industry partnership where people and planet matter.
With the two companies’ united commitment to driving positive impact and focusing on female empowerment globally, they are working together to bring Apex Group’s change-making Women’s Accelerator program into the world of sports. The program is designed to drive equity for female progression in male dominated environments, which aligns with Mubadala and SailGP’s vision for gender balance.
For its part, Apex Group will tailor the Accelerator Program for rollout throughout the SailGP network to address and erode gender disparity across different roles within sailing teams, and the broader sailing industry.
This complements Mubadala’s global partnership with SailGP, with the two pioneering organizations making waves together through the sponsorship of the league, and the SailGP Inspire Program.
Mubadala holds a strategic minority stake in Apex, since 2022 when it invested alongside TA Associates including the Carlyle Group.
