The Global Aerospace Summit 2016 will run from 7-8 March 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center
Abu Dhabi, UAE: Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi-based investment and development company, will host the third Global Aerospace Summit, an invitation-only strategic forum for senior international industry leaders in aerospace, aviation, space and defense industries. This year’s summit will take place during Abu Dhabi Aviation & Aerospace Week (ADAAW), which is held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and will bring together a collection of world-class events, exhibitions, conferences and seminars across all aspects of aviation and aerospace.
The 2016 Global Aerospace Summit will set the stage for engaging debates around innovation in the aerospace sector; including the adoption of cutting edge technology and the new ways of doing business in today’s marketplace. The summit will welcome over 1,000 c-level executives from around the world to feature in robust discussions on the key challenges facing the aerospace, aviation, space and defense industries.

The opening session of the summit will include a welcome address by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Group CEO & Managing Director, Mubadala Development Company; and a keynote address by James Hogan, President and Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airways.
The summit will also feature a number of industry talks with prestigious speakers from around the world to discuss the future of aviation & aerospace industry. Keynote speakers include Marillyn Hewson, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Lockheed Martin; H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Ahbabi, Director General, UAE Space Agency; Bernard Charlès, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dassault Systèmes; and Mauro Moretti, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Finmeccanica.
