Nadine Saleh Hassan, Head of Integrated Marketing and Outreach at Mubadala, commented: “The Mubadala Youth Forum brings the UAE’s youth together with influential figures in an open environment that encourages dialogue and idea sharing. With the inspirational talks and workshops we have planned, we are creating an opportunity for our nation’s bright young minds to build their knowledge and  soft skills as they prepare for the transition into exciting careers within the UAE’s growing economy.’

She added, “We are also looking forward to highlighting the achievements and positive impact young UAE nationals have had on society through the Youth Award. We are still accepting nominations, and encourage those interested to nominate a candidate by visiting Mubadala’s youth portal, Weyana.”

Dr Majid Al Qassimi, Veterinarian and Director - Terrestrial Biodiversity, at Environment Agency, commented: “I am very excited to take part in this dynamic event, which is dedicated to guiding our young generation and to help them consider the varied career opportunities available to them in today’s ever diversifying economy. I am looking forward to sharing my own story, which I hope will help guide and inspire others.”

Under the theme “Our Future, Your Ambition”, last year’s Youth Forum was attended by hundreds of students from across the UAE. It offered students the opportunity to interact with Emirati business leaders and role models as they consider the varied career opportunities at the heart of Abu Dhabi’s economic development. Last year's winners of the Mubadala Youth Award were Hamad Al Kaabi, Mishal Al Marzooqi and Alia Al Hazami who were all recognized for their inspirational achievements.

The forum is open to Emirati nationals between the ages of 17 and 25. To register attendance at the Mubadala Youth Forum 2015 or nominate a candidate for the Youth Award, please visit weyana.ae/youthforum
