AMMROC secures AED 11.5million contract to overhaul Eurocopter AS350 aircraft for UAE Joint Aviation Command (JAC)

Agreement further establishes AMMROC as the regional provider of choice for military aviation MRO services across rotary platforms

AMMROC (Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center) LLC has secured the contract to complete the overhaul of Eurocopter AS350 aircraft for the UAE Joint Aviation Command (JAC), with a contract valued at AED 11.5 million.

The announcement by AMMROC, a joint venture company owned by Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi based investment and development company, Sikorsky Aerospace Services, and Lockheed Martin, took place during Dubai Airshow 2013 held between  17th - 21st November at Dubai World Central.

This agreement enables AMMROC to perform the calendar 12-year inspections, a critical overhaul that includes the inspection and repair of the aircraft mechanical systems, avionics systems, and airframe.  This also allows AMMROC to perform the overhaul within the UAE, providing a key regional capability that was formerly only available abroad. This agreement reinforces AMMROC’s vision to provide industry best maintenance service and support of UAE Armed Forces aircraft while developing a highly skilled and educated workforce.
