The 17th World Aluminium Conference, the most important global conference in the upstream and downstream aluminium sector, is being held in Abu Dhabi for the first time on May 1st and 2nd.

Mubadala and Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), Mubadala’s joint venture with Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL), are proudly hosting the Conference, highlighting the contributions made by the UAE to the global aluminium industry and celebrating the international collaboration that has contributed to one of the most important growth industries in the UAE and the Gulf.

The Conference comes at a time when EMAL’s second phase has been launched to boost output by a further 500,000 tonnes per year, creating significant economic growth for the UAE and many employment opportunities for young UAE Nationals.
