Khazna is the only dedicated commercial wholesale data center provider based in the UAE.

Founded in 2012, Khazna – meaning ‘Safe’ in Arabic – provides organizations with dedicated commercial wholesale data center solutions to meet the growing need for data center operations in the UAE.

Khazna currently has two facilities in the UAE, in Meydan Dubai and Masdar City Abu Dhabi, allowing customers to gain access to a vital ecosystem comprising of wholesale, co-location and multi-tenant data center services.

Each data center facility comprises of six independent data center modules (PODs). Based on a modular design, each facility is set to deliver 24 megawatt (MW).

Khazna is fully ISO 27001:2013 accredited, certified by an international organization for standardization, BSI (British Standards Institution).

In 2017, Khazna announced that it is set to double its capacity by the end of 2019. The expansion will cover a total build-up area of around 31,000 sqm across the existing facilities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai out of which 7,500 sqm are IT whitespace. The combined facilities will deliver over 24 megawatt (MW) of IT load once complete.

Khazna is majority-owned by Mubadala.
