Enviva exports pellets through long-term, take-or-pay off-take contracts with creditworthy customers in the United Kingdom, Europe, and increasingly in Japan.
Mubadala has invested USD$150 million in Enviva as part of a consortium of institutional investors that invested in the business to fund future growth projects. This investment is a part of Mubadala’s focus on sustainable and impactful investments, as Enviva helps major utilities around the world to cost-effectively displace coal and other fossil fuels as part of the energy transition to a low-carbon future.
