Responding to this, our Petroleum and Petrochemicals (P&P) platform has designed a series of initiatives to develop the skills and capabilities of young employees working within our diversified and integrated energy business. Last year, Mubadala P&P launched the Future Energy Leaders (FELs) program. With foundational learning at its core, this initiative aims to encourage and foster young talent within the platform, focusing in particular on the next generation of Emirati leaders, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and relevant experiences, which support career growth.
A vital part of the program has been designed to create unique experiences through our global network of partners to ensure international exposure, with domestic and international secondment opportunities across our global portfolio of investee companies, including; Borealis (Austria), CEPSA (Spain) and Mubadala Petroleum (Abu Dhabi), to promote the exchange of sector knowledge, cultural awareness and corporate skills.
To date, more than 10 talented Emirati associates and analysts have been selected to participate in this rewarding program, in turn proudly helping the UAE to meet the demands of building a knowledge-based and diversified economy.
