Capital Health Screening Centre (CHSC), a Mubadala company, is supporting the UAE’s efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Within two weeks, Capital Health Screening Centre opened a purpose-built facility for COVID-19 screening in Mussafah, with the capacity to screen 3,500 individuals and administer 500 tests per day.
Haitham Al Subaihi, CEO of Capital Health Screening Centre, highlights the Centre’s commitment to supporting the Department of Economic Development and the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, in their efforts to control the COVID-19 outbreak.
The opening of the facility in Musaffah is in partnership with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS). The goal is to support the UAE government’s National Screening Project to test 335,000 residents in the Musaffah area, raise awareness and minimize infection risk.
Capital Health Screening Centre staff will screen UAE citizens and residents who display symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, shortness of breath and upper respiratory tract infections, with priority screening given to senior citizens and pregnant women.
Patients can visit the center by appointment only and will be classified and tested based on their medical history and symptoms. Visitors displaying “low risk” symptoms will have a swab test, while those with “high risk” symptoms will undergo both a swab test and a medical assessment.
