Amr Rashidi from Palestine wins The Million Player Competition, 2014

19- year old Amr Rashidi won the coveted AED 1 million first prize in this year’s Million Player competition, beating Emirati Hamad Al Hammadi in a thrilling final that ended in a penalty shootout.

The Million Player Competition 2014 was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and attracted more than 50,000 entrants from UAE and GCC countries.

HE Khadem Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Managing Director of IPIC, the Official Partner and Sponsor of The Million Player Competition 2014, attended the final match at Aljazeera Sport Club in Abu Dhabi, together with Sultan Bin Thaloub Al Dari, Chairman of the E-Football Committee.

The runner-up and third placed players won new cars, whilst the fourth and fifth placed players received cheque for AED 15,000 and AED 10,000, respectively.
