Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE, is ending 2010 on a high note after receiving major awards, welcoming new key partners and further strengthening its organizational structure on its 5th year of operation.

Achievements and Awards

Injazat received a number of accolades in 2010 attesting to its leading position in the region’s thriving ICT sector:

Frost & Sullivan bestowed the ‘2010 Frost & Sullivan Market Share Leadership of the Year for the UAE Captive Managed Services Market’ to the company last October. The global business research and consulting firm honoured Injazat for gaining a 30.1 per cent market share of the UAE’s captive managed services market for 2010, with 2009 acting as the base year. Injazat was also commended for its comprehensive portfolio of cost-effective managed services and strategic alliances and partnerships.

A few months earlier Injazat’s Tier IV design-certified data centre, the first of its kind in the Middle East, was named ‘Best Data Centre Middle East Region’ during the Data Centre Strategies Middle East Award, the first-ever awards ceremony for data centre service excellence in the region. The company was also awarded certifications for meeting the strict requirements of the international ISO/IEC 20000:2005 IT Service Management and ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System standards, affirming the high standard of management processes implemented by Injazat to meet business requirements for IT Services.

Injazat forged key partnerships with some of the region’s top corporate names over the past 12 months. It inked a three-year contract to provide a Managed Print Service to Abu Dhabi–based gas company Dolphin Energy. It also formed a partnership with ALROWAD IT Solutions to deliver a comprehensive range of information technology services and products. A go-to-market MOU with the UAE’s integrated telecom service provider du consolidates Injazat’s state-of-the-art managed networked IT services with du’s and Injazat’s combined market-leading telecommunication services and business solutions.

“During our fifth year of operation we were able to reinforce our leading position within the local and regional ICT markets and implement strategic management changes that will ensure further success. Over the past months we have proven our resilience against the crisis and increasingly high levels of local and regional competition. We also continued to enjoy the confidence and trust of both the private and government sectors said Bala Pandalandat, CEO Injazat Data Systems.
