In the spirit of Ramadan, du is sharing free credit with its customers with the unique ‘Bonus on Incoming’ offer, which provides extra value and rewards starting in the Holy Month. In order to keep people connected during this special time, du is awarding its subscribers with 0.1 fils of bonus credit (6 fils/ min) for every second of every call they receive from the UAE.

“Ramadan is a time to connect with near ones, strengthen family ties and a chance to reconnect amid life’s busy schedule. Therefore, in this spirit of unity and togetherness, we have created the ‘Bonus on Incoming’ offer that provides our customers with free credit while receiving calls from any UAE phone,” commented Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du.

All individual du Pay as you Go® and Elite Plan customers can avail of the offer by simply calling 135 and choosing option 4 to activate the promotion, for a one-time fee of just AED 5. They can then benefit from free credit every time they receive a call from a UAE phone number, which can be used to make any type of phone call, including national and international calls. Pay as You Go customers will receive the free credit immediately at the end of the call, and Elite Plan customers will receive the extra credit on their bill as bonus that can be used for calls in their next bill.

du also recently announced, international calling rates of just 1.5 fils/sec (90 fils/minute) to 190 top destinations, from Saturday to Thursday between 9pm and 9am and all day Friday. The new offer – available as part of du’s One World Plan – will make calling loved ones around the world more affordable than ever before. Customers can opt in to the One World Plan at no extra cost by dialling 135 from their du mobile line, and then selecting option 6.

  • du’s online section, ‘Perfect Time’, helps people plan and organise their activities during the holy month, assisting them in observing their religious duties and reminding them to stay in touch with family and friends, as well as providing special Ramadan-specific offers, services and general information.
  • du has signed an exclusive partnership with the well-loved UAE-National Al Munshed, Ahmed Bukhatir, to provide du mobile customers with a variety of Islamic content. The content, which will be exclusively available to du customers during Ramadan, includes downloads from the talented singer’s upcoming album, ‘Moments with Allah’, as well as a variety of ringtones, wallpapers, Arabic and English Dua’as and Quran recitals.
  • du’s latest Homephone 24/7 offering provides Homephone postpaid customers with an even more economical way to use their existing landline, with international calls to 190 destinations from as little as 1 fils per second at any time of the day or week – a saving of 45 per cent on du’s current Homephone postpaid plan.
